At the University of Providence, 54 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students – age 25 or older – and 66 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Great Falls enrolled 1,038 students in fall 2018, including 876 in undergraduate and 162 in graduate programs, data shows. 20.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

41 percent of undergraduates are residents of Montana, and 56 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (76 percent) and Black or African American (4 percent).

The school admitted 56 percent of the 440 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 57 percent enrolled.
