The City of Great Falls has launched an updated website to improve service for residents and align with current technology standards. The new site, now available at https://www.greatfallsmt.gov/, replaces the previous “.net” domain with a “.gov” address. City officials advise residents who have bookmarked the old site to update their saved links.
According to city communications, “Users who were previously signed up for email notifications from the website, such as meeting agendas, meeting dates, or news releases, remain subscribed to those notifications. Users who would like to sign up for email notifications, or receive the newly offered text notifications, can do so by selecting the ‘Notify Me’ option on the homepage of the updated site.”
The update was prompted by changes in software support after the city’s previous platform was acquired by another company and was no longer supported. Residents experiencing issues or with questions about navigating the new website are encouraged to contact Meredith Dawson at 406-455-8496 for assistance.
