The City of Great Falls Public Works Utilities Division has announced a temporary road closure at 32nd Ave. NE and 9th St. NE on September 10, 2025, to repair a water main leak. The closure will affect traffic in the area while repairs are underway.

According to city officials, customers living near the affected section of 32nd Ave. NE may experience temporary interruptions in their water service during the repair process. The work is scheduled to be completed by the end of the day.

Barricades and detour signs will be placed around the construction site to redirect traffic and ensure safety. Residents are encouraged to follow posted detours and allow extra travel time if driving through this part of Great Falls.

“The public’s patience and consideration during this process is appreciated,” said Jake Mckenna, Utility Systems Manager for the City of Great Falls Public Works Utilities Division. “For more information, please contact the Public Works Utilities office at (406)727-8045.”
