Free summer parking at north garage in Great Falls ends September 1

Free summer parking at the North Parking Garage in Great Falls will end on September 1, according to city officials. The City of Great Falls announced that after this date, the first two hours of parking in the North Parking Garage will no longer be free.

Parking rates for the garage will be set at 50 cents per hour, which is half the cost of on-street parking. Both the North and South Garages will continue to offer free parking after 6 PM, on weekends, and during City holidays. On-street parking remains free after 5 PM, on weekends, and on City holidays.

“Free summer parking in the City’s North Parking Garage will conclude on September 1st. While the first two hours of parking in the North Parking Garage will no longer be free, garage parking will be offered at a competitive rate of 50 cents per hour—half the price of on-street parking. Additionally, parking in the North and South Garages is free after 6 PM, on weekends, and on City holidays. On-street parking is also free after 5 PM, on weekends, and on City holidays,” said Brock Cherry, Planning & Community Development Director for Great Falls.
