GFPD Homicide Investigation Suspects Arrested 5/24/2023

GREAT FALLS, Montana – Detectives with the Great Falls Police Department have continued their homicide investigation which began in the 800 Block of 17th St. S. at approximately 1:52 AM on Tuesday May 23rd, 2023.

Late this afternoon, GFPD Detectives obtained arrest warrants for two suspects charging each with the homicide of 51-year old Great Falls resident, Tammey McWilliams. McWilliams’ name was previously released by the Cascade County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office citing her manner of death was attributed to multiple stab wounds. Detectives were able to locate and arrest both suspects here in Great Falls.

Twenty year old male, Bing Derrick Ahenakew, a resident of Great Falls and eighteen year old female, Charlotte Mary Andrade, also a resident of Great Falls, have been charged with Felony, Accountability to Deliberate Homicide. Ahenakew and Andrade have been remanded to the custody of the Cascade County Detention Center, each being held on a $500,000.00 Bond.

The investigation has revealed homicide was not a random event. There is no known risk to the public in relation to this event.

GFPD Detectives are still actively investigating and following additional leads. Further investigation and evidence evaluation will continue.
