Great Falls Park and Recreation is offering a variety of upcoming events, classes, and programs for the community. Residents who need financial help to participate in activities such as workout classes or swimming memberships can apply for scholarships. Applications are available at the Scheels Aim High Big Sky Recreation Center.

For adults interested in swimming, the Flying Fish Swim Club meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00am to 7:00am at the Aquatic and Recreation Center. The program welcomes swimmers of all abilities and provides varied workouts. Participants must have a membership or purchase a day pass, and equipment is provided except for personal swimwear, towels, and goggles.

An open house at the Great Falls Aquatic and Recreation Center is scheduled for Thursday, November 13th, from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. The event will provide information about recreation center classes, upcoming events, and amenities. Attendees can also learn about services offered by Spine Sport and Therapy, take part in demo fitness classes, join a waterslide contest, enter prize drawings, receive chair massages, and enjoy light refreshments. Facility entry will be free during this event.

A Parent & Kiddo Dance is planned for Saturday, November 15th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Aquatic and Recreation Center. Admission is $5 per person; children under 12 must be accompanied by a guardian aged 16 or older. DJ Sarge will provide music during the event. The aquatics and fitness area will not be open during this time.

For more details on these programs or facility rentals, residents can contact the Scheels Aim High Big Sky Aquatic and Recreation Facility or email parkrequests@greatfallsmt.net.
