0Comments

All of us at the Meagher County Sheriff’s Office want to wish all of the hunters a safe and joyful opening day and season. A few tips to help us enjoy it as much as you do:

1) Let someone know where you will be hunting and what time you will be out of the mountains.

2) Make sure you have permission to be where you are hunting.

3) know what you can legally shoot in the area you are in.

4) Know what you are shooting at, our ranchers invest their lives into their animals they have a right to be upset if you shoot one.

5) Keep your basic Hunter Safety rules in mind.

6) Be a steward of the sport, set a positive example for everyone else to follow.

Happy hunting!
