Rains for Montana issued the following announcement on March 5.
The Cascade County Sheriff's Office released the name of the deceased male that was discovered in the Missouri River near the Rainbow Dam as Victor John Struss, 64.
Cascade County Sheriff Jesse Slaughter said in a media release that Struss' next of kin has been notified. Slaughter said that there is no evidence of foul play.
The release did not include Struss' cause of death.

Deputies discovered the body on the morning of Sunday, March 1. Struss' body was sent to the Missoula Crime Lab earlier this week for an autopsy. Struss was listed as a missing person and was last seen in early October of last year. According to the Great Falls Police Department at the time, Struss went missing under suspicious circumstances.
