Local companies, people recognized for COVID-19 assistance

Business 1200x675

The Chamber of Commerce took to the Independent Record to highlight several local businesses, organizations, and individuals who are helping out the community amid the spread of COVID-19.

First on the list are locals AshLy Tubbs and Karli Mosey, who launched Community Crate to promote merchandise and products from Helena companies. Residents will find some of the items in a monthly subscription box that is also available. Those interested can register on the website: https://www.community-crate.com/.

The Montana Radio Company has also called on residents to participate in the $50 by 5 initiative, which asks them to purchase $50 worth of products at a local business before May 5. If just half of the 70,000 locals participate, the campaign could make $1.5 million.

The Independent Record also stepped up with a grant that will help companies raise money for marketing.
