UPDATE #6 @ 4:50 p.m.: The Public Works crew is in the process of repairing the leak; the water will NOT be turned on for the scheduled 5:30 p.m. time frame as it will cause more issues during repair. At this time, we predict water services will be restored tonight.
UPDATE #5 @ 11:25 a.m.: The water will NOT be turned on at 11:30 a.m. as scheduled; the leak has been located and turning the water on at this point will extend the repair process. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding.
UPDATE #4 @ 2:40 p.m.: Due to continuing complications with the water break we are setting the following schedule: the water will be on from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. this evening and then off for the night. Tomorrow, February 1st, the water will be on from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m., on again from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and on from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Please plan accordingly! We understand the inconvenience; however, we need to protect the health of our Public Works crew as they have been working non-stop on this break for over 29 hours. We appreciate your continued patience!
UPDATE #3 @ 7:10 am: The water will be turned on at 8:00 a.m. and will remain on for about 45 minutes. This will give people a chance to flush toilets, fill bathtubs, jugs, etc. Please plan accordingly!
UPDATE#2 @ 6:34 am: The water is still off due to the break; there may be times Public Works will turn it on for small periods of time! We understand the inconvenience this is causing and we are working diligently to fix this break and return services. Thank you for your continued patience!
UPDATE: Due to additional complications the water will continue to be off through early evening and possibly longer while repairs continue.
ATTENTION HARLEM RESIDENTS: Due to a water break the water will probably be shut off for repairs within the next hour; please plan accordingly! At this time, we do not have any details on how long the water will be off. Thank you for your patience.
