3.2% of Cascade County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Cascade County recorded an unemployment rate of 3.2% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 1,364 people out of the 84,178 living in Cascade County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Cascade County has decreased compared to the 3.5% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Cascade County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 4%.

Of the 40,782 people who had a job during that time, 2,405 were employed in the Armed Forces and 38,377 belonged to the civilian labor force.
