Chippewa cree indian nation issued the following announcement on Jan 21.
The hunting of female mountain lions in central Montana Hunting District’s 422, 423, 424, 425 and 442, which includes portions of Lewis & Clark and Teton counties, will close at one-half hour after sunset on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2020.
The closure notice for the hunt came shortly after Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest sub-quota in the districts combined has been met.
