Today, U.S. Senator Steve Daines held a meeting with Chinese Premier Li Qiang in Beijing. According to Rachel Dumke, spokesperson for Senator Daines, the senator expressed gratitude towards Premier Li for engaging with CEOs from seven American companies. These companies have a long-standing history of conducting business in China and discussed their ongoing challenges.

Dumke further stated that "the Senator also emphasized President Trump’s call for decisive action from China to stop the flow of fentanyl precursors and to end their devastating impact on the American people."
