Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Montana Academy of Salons

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Montana Academy of Salons, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Montana students paid $17,200 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 74 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 44 students received grants or scholarships totaling $214,155 and 49 students took out student loans totaling more than $354,110.

Including all undergraduates (91), 80 students used grants or scholarships totaling $429,095, and 82 students took out $585,133 in federal student loans.
