WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senator Steve Daines expressed his concerns about the Biden administration's policy of allowing illegal immigrants to board airplanes without providing any required personal information. Speaking at the weekly Republican Senate Leadership press conference, Daines criticized the policy, stating, "How is this even serious?"

Daines highlighted the stark contrast between the requirements for American citizens and illegal immigrants when it comes to boarding flights. He emphasized that American citizens are required to present a valid form of ID, such as a driver's license, when attempting to board a flight within the United States. However, the same standard does not apply to illegal immigrants.

The Senator drew attention to a sign that he claims has appeared at the Delta Terminal at the Miami Airport. The sign instructs illegal immigrants to use the CBP One app at TSA checkpoints as a valid form of ID to board a plane in the United States. Daines expressed his disbelief at the fact that this app allows migrants, including those wanted for crimes, to provide unverifiable information and gain entry into the country.

Daines raised concerns about the potential security risks posed by this policy. He pointed out that even individuals coming from countries designated as state sponsors of terror and on terror watch lists can use this process. He questioned the rationale behind requiring American citizens to acquire a Real ID by 2025 while allowing illegal immigrants to board planes with unverifiable information filled out on an app.

The Senator criticized the Biden administration and Senate Democrats for their purported concern about the southern border while their actions suggest otherwise. Daines urged for a more serious approach to address the border crisis, stating, "It's time to get serious."

In a separate interview with Fox Business' Cavuto: Coast to Coast, Daines further discussed President Biden's border crisis. He reiterated his concerns about the administration's handling of the situation and emphasized the need for stronger measures to secure the southern border.

Daines has been actively working to secure the southern border and has been vocal in his criticism of the Biden administration's immigration policies. He continues to call for a more rigorous approach to address the challenges at the border.

As the debate over immigration policies continues, Senator Daines remains steadfast in his commitment to advocating for stronger border security measures and ensuring the safety and well-being of the American people.
