Scheels Aim High Big Sky Aquatic and Recreation Center in Great Falls, Montana, is offering a Belly Dancing workshop this spring. The series is designed for both beginners and those who want to add some movement to their routine.
Starting on April 2, the classes will introduce essential techniques such as hip work, shimmies, and undulations, alongside proper dance posture and body isolations. Each session will start with a full-body warm-up. Participants are advised to wear comfortable clothing and bring enough water for the class.
The workshop will focus on foundational moves used in improvisational Belly Dance formats and will emphasize fluid and expressive arm and hand movements. This initiative aims to offer an experience of fitness, cultural expression, or exploring a new interest.
Scheduled for April 2, 9, 16, and 23 at 6:30 p.m., classes will be held at Scheels Aim High Big Sky on 900 29th Street S. The cost is $40, and registration can be done by calling 406-727-6099, visiting the facility in person, or registering online.
Jessica Johnson, Facility and Fitness Coordinator, is the contact point for more information at 406-791-8995.
