U.S. Senator Steve Daines has reached out to Postmaster General Louis DeJoy, expressing concerns over issues with absentee ballots in Montana. In a letter sent today, Daines highlighted complaints from residents who have not received their ballots or found them delayed at postal facilities far from their intended destinations.

Daines emphasized the importance of voting access, stating, "The right to vote is a cornerstone of American democracy and every eligible Montanan and American must have access to the polls." He noted that many rural Montanans face challenges such as long distances to polling locations and difficult weather conditions on Election Day.

While acknowledging the efforts of local clerks and postal workers managing increased mail volumes, Daines urged for a resolution to these issues so constituents can exercise their voting rights in this significant election.
