Great Falls to host free hazardous waste collection event

The city of Great Falls, Montana, is organizing a Household Hazardous Waste Collection event in partnership with Veolia North America. Scheduled for April 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., this initiative will take place at the intersection of 1st St. S and 3rd Ave. S. The event is free for the public to attend.

Nate Besich, Environmental Division Manager, spearheads the event aiming to facilitate the safe and proper disposal of household chemicals and hazardous waste. The collection will accept items such as antifreeze, gasoline, and paint thinners, among others. However, latex-based paint products, mercury items, and commercial waste will not be admissible.
