U.S. Senator Steve Daines expressed approval for a recent $2 million investment by GE Aerospace in its joint venture site located in Butte, Montana. This financial commitment is aimed at enhancing the manufacturing of commercial and military aircraft engines through the modernization of the facility's layout.

Daines stated, "Thanks to Gov. Gianforte, Montana is a great place to live, work and grow a business and today’s announcement by GE proves that to be true once again. I’m glad to see this major investment by GE Aerospace at their joint venture site in Butte. Montana is a hub for technology and innovation, and GE Aerospace’s facility provides well-paying jobs for the community while increasing our country’s national security. I’ll continue to do everything I can to support manufacturing and production in our great state."

Montana Precision Products operates as an aerospace manufacturing company based in Butte. It functions as a joint venture between GE Aerospace and SeaCast, producing tube and duct assemblies along with small structural castings for aerospace and commercial applications. The facility employs over two dozen residents of Montana.

The investment will focus on modernizing the facility's layout, aiming to improve workflow and productivity to better support the production of engine components used in both narrowbody and widebody aircraft engines as well as military marine engines.
