U.S. Senator Steve Daines, Senator Tim Sheehy, Congressman Ryan Zinke, and Congressman Troy Downing have addressed a letter to Postmaster General Louis DeJoy concerning ongoing mail service disruptions in Montana. The issues are notably affecting Bozeman and Belgrade, with problems such as misdelivered packages and tracking difficulties being highlighted.

The letter emphasizes the need for immediate action due to persistent staffing deficiencies impacting the United States Postal Service (USPS) operations in these areas. "As strong supporters of the USPS, we respectfully request immediate action to resolve interruptions in Bozeman and Belgrade," the lawmakers stated. They acknowledged the importance of efficient operations but stressed that Montanans are facing significant challenges that demand urgent attention.

The officials expressed their willingness to collaborate on finding solutions that would allow the Postal Service to effectively fulfill its mission within Montana.
