U.S. Senator Steve Daines has expressed his approval following the Senate's passage of the budget resolution for fiscal year 2025. In a statement, Daines emphasized that "the American people sent a message to Washington, D.C., in November that they are sick and tired of high inflation, an out-of-control border and American weakness abroad."

Daines highlighted the significance of the bill, stating, "Today the Senate took an important step forward to fund President Trump’s priorities and get our country back on track." He outlined that the bill includes provisions for border security, energy development in America, and military rebuilding.

The senator also expressed optimism about further developments as the House reviews its version of the bill. "As the House considers their bill," he said, "I’m confident we’ll find a solution that will bring home wins for Montanans and the American people."
