This morning the Meagher County Emergency Communications Center received a 911 call reporting an active shooter at the WSS School. The School Resource Officer was notified. The dispatcher did their due diligence and attempted to interview the caller. There were numerous discrepancies. 

The SRO stayed at the school throughout the day and at no time were there any issues noted. This is the same hoax that was called in to multiple agencies across the state. 

The Meagher County Sheriffs Office and White Sulphur Springs School District take every threat to our students and staff seriously.
