One Neighborhood Council (NC) will host a meeting next week. Below is a brief summary of the meeting as well as a list of the upcoming Neighborhood Council Summer Socials.

Neighborhood Council # 7's (NC#7) monthly meeting is on Monday, July 10, at 7:00 pm in the Civic Center Gibson Room. Agenda items* include Infinity Wellness Inc., Calumet donation, ice cream social, committee reports, and neighborhood concerns. Neighborhood Council Summer Socials – Come and enjoy ice cream with your neighbors. All events are free and open to the public.

  • NC#8 – July 20 at 6 pm in Memorial Park
  • NC#3 – August 19 at 1 pm in Jaycee Park
  • NC#7 – August 20 at 12 pm in Carter Park
  • NC# 5 – August 20 at 2 pm in Russell Park

Monthly agendas are posted on the Neighborhood Councils' online calendar, https://greatfallsmt.net/calendar?term_node_tid_depth=871, at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled meeting.

Want to serve on a Neighborhood Council? While the deadline to have your name on the ballot passed, you can still file as a write-in candidate. Below is a link to the Write-In Candidate Declaration of Intent and Oath of Candidacy. This form needs to be submitted to the Cascade County Elections Office by September 5 at 5 pm. The election for the Neighborhood Council will be held on November 7, 2023, and the 2-year term begins in January 2024. Currently, there are openings in Neighborhood Councils 2, 5, and 9.

About Neighborhood Councils
In Great Falls, there are currently 9 Neighborhood Councils. Their purpose is to serve the citizens of Great Falls by providing a direct link to City government within the neighborhoods. Each Council is made up of 5 members who were elected by the voters in that Council area. Website | Facebook
