Of the 2,082 citizens living in Wheatland County in 2021, 79.2% were old enough to vote, equating to 1,648 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 701 were male, constituting 42.5%, and 947 were female, making up 57.5%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Wheatland County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 78.4%.
