U.S. Senator Steve Daines has reintroduced the "Chiropractic Medicare Coverage Modernization Act" alongside Senate colleagues. This legislation aims to expand Medicare coverage for chiropractic services in Montana, offering a non-drug alternative for pain management. The bill also includes provisions for x-rays and other diagnostic services necessary for determining and prescribing appropriate chiropractic treatments.

Senator Daines expressed his support for the bill, stating, “I’m glad to join this commonsense bill to expand Medicare coverage because our seniors deserve better access to care for their health care needs. The less barriers to care the better.” He further emphasized his commitment by saying, “I will always fight for higher quality, better access and lower cost medical care for Montanans.”

The proposed legislation seeks to improve healthcare accessibility and options available under Medicare, focusing on providing seniors with alternative pain management solutions.
