U.S. Senator Steve Daines held a meeting with Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng in Beijing today. According to Rachel Dumke, spokesperson for Senator Daines, the meeting was welcomed by the Senator.

“Senator Daines welcomed today’s meeting with Vice Premier He Lifeng,” Dumke stated. The discussion included President Trump's continued appeal for China to halt the flow of fentanyl precursors. There is optimism for more high-level discussions between the United States and China soon.
