It may have been cloudy, but the rain let up just in time for our annual Award’s Ceremony. After the presentation of colors and a beautiful performance of the National Anthem, we honored some of CCSOs finest.
A plaque and flag that had been flown over the Sheriff’s Office was presented to Jen Weir. The loss of her husband, Tyler, and son last year has shaken Cascade County Search and Rescue, CCSO and the community. We have been so blessed by their dedication.
Awards of Appreciation were given to Detention Officers Monks, Johnson, Kent, Motschenbacher, Deputy Gervais, Officer Lugo of the JDC and our two volunteers Gene and Kelsie.
Life Saving Awards were given to Deputies Wren, Sanders, Horn and VanZuyt.
Missy Crawford was awarded the Distinguished Service Award for over 24 years of service.
Officer Juarez received the honor of Detention Officer of the Year
Deputy Sergeant Kadner received an award for Meritorious Service as well as being named Deputy of the Year.
Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us and recognize these stellar individuals. Shout out to Schulte's 38th Street Store and Coffee House for donating an awesome lunch today!
